Freddie’s Philosophy

Most of the time what is perceived initially as a behavior problem is, at its core, an inter-species misunderstanding.

Dogs, like all other animals, are individuals. Any one-size-fits-all training method could never meet the needs of every dog. While it’s not helpful to imagine our dogs as if they were humans (anthropomorphism), it is imperative that we reach into our own nature as social mammals to cultivate true balance with the other animals in our families.

Patterns of friction, anxiety, and frustration that build in the body can become meaningful opportunities for connection and social fulfillment with your dog. When we slow down and look at what’s actually happening beneath the behavior, new ways of relating begin to emerge.

After working together, you’ll not only understand the dynamics at play in your deepest challenge areas—you’ll no longer experience the issues that made you reach out for support in the first place.
